Art Field Agency is a diverse community of local leaders, creators, artists, and practitioners from all levels of experience and representative of broad skill sets. The backbone of Art Field consists of its growing network of Art Field “Agents” that both collectively and individually contribute in varied capacities, including serving as advisors, assistants, mentors, and participating in advocacy work groups.

Artist / Educator

He is an artist and multi-faceted creative force, and a rebel rouser. Among his many titles, he is owner/operator of Benavides Picture Framing and Benavides Studios Inc.. He established the youth arts education non-profit S.M.A.R.T. (Supporting Multiple Arts Resources Together) (smartsa.org).
Sarah Farwell
Urbanist / Curator

She develops and commissions art, design, policy, and multidisciplinary projects for public agencies, cultural organizations, and private institutions that improve public spaces and services, respond to context and stakeholder input, promote exchange and understanding, and deepen connections between communities and environments.
Henry Estrada
Curator / Administrator

He is a curator of contemporary art and an experienced arts administrator, having worked with the Smithsonian Museum in DC, the Latin American Culture Center, and with the City of San Antonio Department of Arts & Culture.
Guillermo C. Nicolas
Philanthropist / Collector

He is a distinguished philanthropist, arts advocate and collector of contemporary art. He served as the founding Chairman of the San Antonio Arts Commission and serves on various boards and organizations including the Texas Cultural Trust and the SA Public Library Foundation.
Matthew Wymer
Attorney / Art Advocate

He is an experienced Partner with a demonstrated history of working in the law practice industry. Skilled in Torts, Trial Practice, Business Litigation, Legal Writing, and Trials. Strong entrepreneurship professional graduated from St. Mary’s University School of Law.
